Privacy Policy for Gamble Diary App
Marcum Software Development is providing this privacy policy as it applies to the app Gamble Diary in accordance with Section 5 of the Apple App Store Guidelines available September 10, 2018.
5.1 Privacy
5.1.1 Data Collection and Storage
(i) Privacy Policies Summary
The data collected and retained for this app is not personal in nature. This app allows the user to enter and retain a record of gambling trips and sessions, along with notable events, for remembrance purposes. The user decides the level of detail they wish to record. The names, locations, and financial entries are entirely within the control of the user.
No external server is used for data storage.
Based on timestamp, the user’s photos can be associated with notable events as composed by the user, enhancing remembrance when reviewing these notable events in the app or sharing these notable events using Apple’s Share interface.
Reports can be generated by the user but they are stored only on the device on which the app is running. Reports can be emailed by the user using Apple’s email interface.
This app allows the user to archive trip/session data on iCloud for loading on their other devices.
In this app the user is entirely in control of data retention/deletion through the provided delete functionality.
(ii) Permission:
Permission to access photos is confirmed by the app. If permission is denied the app otherwise performs normally but without the ability to show or share the user’s photos. Permission to access photos can be revoked in Settings->Gamble Diary.
Permission to store trip/session archives on Apple’s iCloud is confirmed by the app. If permission is denied the app otherwise performs normally but without the ability to load the archives onto the user’s other iOS devices. Permission to store trip/session archives on iCloud can be revoked in Settings->Gamble Diary.
(iii) Data Minimization:
The only data access needed outside of the app is to the user’s photos (by permission) and the only photo metadata used is the time the photo was created (timestamp). Sharing is accomplished without access to Contacts by using Apple’s Share interface.
(iv) Access:

This app does not utilize an account sign-in since the app does not collect or retain any personal data
(vi) This app does not surreptitiously discover passwords or other private data.
(vii) This app does not use SafariViewController to track users.
5.1.2 Data Use and Sharing

There are no in-app purchases in this app.
There is no real money gaming or simulated gaming in this app.
5.4 VPN Apps
There are no VPN services utilized in this app.
5.5 Developer Code of Conduct
At Marcum Software Development we treat everyone with respect, whether in our responses to App Store reviews, customer support requests, or when communicating with Apple, including our responses in Resolution Center. We will never engage in harassment of any kind, discriminatory practices, intimidation, bullying, and won’t encourage others to engage in any of the above.
